At Kettle Range, we're passionate supporters of local food, and we're particularly proud of all of the interesting and innovative products that are being developed and sold by growing numbers of Wisconsin businesses.
We want to do our part to support local food entrepreneurs by seeking out some of the most delicious local products and recommending them to our customers alongside Kettle Range's meats.
To launch this program, we selected 100 Mile Sauce Company, a Madison business with an exciting mission: to source 95% of their products' ingredients from producers located within a 100-mile radius of their home base on Madison's East Side. So far, the guys at 100 Mile have rolled out five delicious products, including their wildly popular Hot BBQ and Honey BBQ sauces, made from organic tomatoes grown in Evansville, honey from Mt. Horeb, and even Viroqua's excellent Wisco Pop! rootbeer.
You can order 100 Mile's sauces from their website, of course, but we will also be selling them at our farmers market stands at some of this summer's best Wisconsin farmers markets. So grab a rack of our exquisite Berkshire pork baby back ribs, a bottle of 100 Mile sauce, and get grilling to support local food!
